Session pace

Relaxed, guided, and focused.

Location

One outdoor Edmonton-area location.

Good to know

After you choose an available date and time, you'll select a collection to reserve your session. Additional artwork can still be added after your gallery is ready.

Is this the right fit?

This is the right session if you want something simple, classic, and true to your dog.

  • You want timeless portraits more than a big adventure story.
  • Your dog does well in familiar outdoor spaces.
  • You prefer one thoughtful outdoor plan instead of multiple locations.
  • You want gentle direction without asking your dog to perform.
  • You want portraits, movement, and connection in a focused session.

You may prefer the Story Session if you want multiple locations, more variety, or a more adventure-based session.

Common questions

Questions before you plan.

What if my dog does not sit still?

They do not need to. Portrait sessions are gently guided and paced around your dog. Movement, sniffing, breaks, and real personality are part of the experience.

Can my dog stay on leash?

Yes. Many dogs are photographed on leash, and leashes can often be minimized or edited where appropriate.

Where do Portrait Sessions take place?

Portrait Sessions take place outdoors in Edmonton-area locations chosen for light, comfort, and what works for your dog.

Can people be included?

Yes. The focus is your dog, but quiet connection with their people can absolutely be part of the session.

What happens if the weather is bad?

We will choose the best available plan for your dog and the conditions. If weather makes the session uncomfortable or impractical, we will adjust.

How do I know if Portrait or Story is better?

Choose Portrait if you want a simple, focused session with classic images. Choose Story if you want multiple locations, more variety, or a more adventure-based session.
