Outdoor dog portrait from an Edmonton Story Session
Story Session

A flexible session for dogs with personality, pace, and people.

A fuller outdoor session with room for movement, variety, family connection, and the moments that make your dog feel like themselves.

Best for

Multiple dogs, nervous or high-energy dogs, family involvement, meaningful locations, or a fuller gallery.

Session pace

Flexible, spacious, and built around your dog's personality.

Location

One or more Edmonton-area outdoor locations, chosen for comfort, light, and variety.

Good to know

After you choose an available date and time, you'll select a collection to reserve your session. Additional artwork can still be added after your gallery is ready.

Is this the right fit?

This is the right session if you want more room for story, variety, and movement.

  • You want a broader gallery with more variety than a simple portrait session.
  • Your dog needs time to settle, move, sniff, or warm up.
  • You want family connection or multiple dogs included naturally.
  • You have a meaningful location or more of an adventure-based session in mind.
  • You want portraits, movement, details, and personality in one flexible experience.

You may prefer the Portrait Session if you want one simple outdoor plan and classic keepsake images.

During your session

I guide the pace while leaving room for movement, breaks, settling, family connection, and natural personality.

Common questions

Questions before you plan.

How is Story different from Portrait?

Story is more flexible. Choose it when you want more variety, multiple locations, family connection, multiple dogs, or room for movement and personality.

Is Story a good fit for nervous or reactive dogs?

Yes. The extra flexibility gives us more space to choose quieter locations, move at your dog's pace, and keep the session low-pressure.

Can people be included?

Yes. Story Sessions are a natural fit when your dog's connection with their people is part of what you want to remember.

Can we use more than one location?

Yes, when it makes sense for your dog, timing, light, and the distance between locations.

What happens if the weather is bad?

We will choose the best available plan for your dog and the conditions. If weather makes the session uncomfortable or impractical, we will adjust.
